I judge(d) eric by what he did for the team and no amount of whoring out will change that . I didn't and don't buy into all the worship afterwards, he did great things for the club and left before he got fat and old. A legend, for me, is a legend in terms of what he did for United. What they do off the pitch, to all intents and purposes, means £#%&! all (unless it directly affects the club which is perhaps why beef with fergie is valid re the Glazers)


No footballer, even Eric, is somehow above what the modern day game is about. Don't kid yourselves
