Happy to oblige. Won four pints on a similar row about ten years ago. No cool story bro though so I'll leave it there.

Loved tommy docs team of the seventies, copper, hill, daly buchan and pearson, reckon we could have won the league with him if he had not been sacked. Of course he has done himself no favours with that interview, hot to make allowances for him due to his age and the huge chip on his shoulder.

Not really his fault tbh, but what the hell - he's a bitter senile old @#%&!

Nice choice of clubs there, Doc. Existing on what's not theirs. Both would probably be in the Championship if it wasn't for handouts, so you have a liking for a freebie in common.

The way he treated Law, in particular, he's got some £#%&!ing neck.

Great days at the club when he was boss tbf, but he's got a nerve lecturing on behaviour.

Thumbs down

So , basically..... you're all taking the Glazers side in this over an ex boss who won a championship, albeit div 2 and the fa cup....as mentioned above, most importantly, stopping the scouse scum winning a treble......

Nailed on, he'd have won the league if the soft bastards on the board hadnt sacked him......reducing the scouse haulage in the 70s and early 80s nqat.

United are @#%&!s sometimes....and you lot make me sick.

Nobody is complaining about when he was our manager, pal (relegation notwithstanding) He has been an embarrassment for a few years now, though.

be that as it may...
but is it such a big deal for a club to let an ex manager sit on a plastic seat for 90 minutes from time to time for free ?

the Doc has always been a gobby £#%&!er but the club should still treat ex servants who have played a significant role in our history with a bit more dignity.

Docherty has been available for decades now, happy to say anything negative you like about United, for a mere 30 pieces of silver.

Sold his legend years ago. £#%&! him.

you're a mess.

he's a bloke who did a job - managing a football team.

he's a bloke who did a job and got paid for it, quite well, most likely.

it's how life works, funnily enough: you do a job, you get sacked or leave and that's it - £#%&!ing hampers and tickets to the game, the sponging @#%&!. do you cry when you don't get invited to parties?

£#%&!ing nurses doing 40yrs service and getting a pittance of a pension and the Polish David Icke here is defending a football manager for not getting a box of after eights and a ticket to a football match.

Go to bed.
