Default Ronaldo set to join Al Nassr in £173m-per-year contract

Two and half year deal incoming by all accounts.

I guess Champions League isn't so important to him after all.

Perfect end to a sorry saga. Talked himself out of leaving one of the biggest clubs in the world, has been shunned by every club in Europe and will end his days slurping sand and oil in some £#%&!ing desert at the arse end of the planet. Bit of a blow to his ego. Money aside he'll be seething.

Idiot.

I wonder what his great mate Piers @#%&! will make of all this?

Not even the best team in Saudi

Sad days. Could have seen his career out at Sporting, albeit with a serious pay cut.

Maybe he has his eye on being record top scorer in the Asia Champions League. Although would help if his new team had actually qualified

No matter how rich you are, it would be very hard to turn down £173m per year to be fair.

Still, sad end though.

Be funny if they signed Messi.

It was nothing to do with the Glazers. He knew this offer was on the table and he wanted out - at least be honest about it ffs (him, not you). Well, and you.

Weren‘t these #@&%!s prepared to give us £30m for him in the summer but he thought he was above them and refused the move?

He can't accept he's not the player he once was - pretty fitting that the only club who wants him are this lot. He'll look ok in that league and will probably score about 15 goals a season

I’d harbour no grudge had we not had the bullshit circus since June tbh, if he’d £#%&!ed off there in the summer I’d have fully understood and wished him well, the fact he’s dragged this out because his ego can’t accept he’s finished is super £#%&!ing annoying and has damaged United by delaying the evolution with his shite and preventing a replacement coming in. He’ll not be forgiven until he retires tbh.
