His fall from icon to this is incredible....
We joke about him being a psycho, but I think he’s actually a bit tweaked and getting madder. Fine line between that level of obsession and madness. The declining powers and difficult personal issues might have pushed him over the edge.

Moving to some absolutely pig of a league just to flesh out his personal numbers is sad to see.

I wonder if he'll stay in the game when he retires? Doubt if he's the coaching/managerial type and he's too big a name to just open a pub and pull pints.

A cushy job with Fifa or some kind of ambassadorial role for the Portuguese FA?

Or maybe a gigolo?

He knows it's over for him, take the money and go and play in the park in a shit league. He's been not much more than a brand for a few years and if this lot are willing pay him, why not

If he needs to step down a level, and he does, he should go to the US and get another year or two of adulation there. It's a bit more respectable in footballing terms and he'd be mixing with people like Rooney and Beckham.

Loads of great advertising and social media opportunities there as well.

Just needs to go on the Tonight Show, cry a bit, do something with James Corden and he'll be sorted.

Will have his own reality show by the end of next season.

Would 100% do Bon Joni’s living on a prayer if he did that car thing with fat cheeks.

Ronnie has absolutely rancid taste. Nailed on white grand piano and one of those massive fake pebble gas fires.

He could not play elite football anymore. Club were out the Champions League places when he left, which seems to be oft forgot. Moving him out was absolutely the best thing for the team & the club. Rashford + Bruno reignited with him out. Would have festered had he stayed.

It was bizarre what he did tbh.

It was all about playing at the top level and he ended up going over there. Weird how he went for Ten Hag as well, even though he is clearly a very good manager and has a chance at getting us challenging. Obviously he didn't like that Ten Hag knew his legs has gone and didn't put him before the team.
