Sundays after 11 a side. Big roast dinner, this then whatever match was on Sky Sports

Who'd have thought Des Walker being in Italy would have basis for an Italian Football TV show

That technique

I used to have the theme music as a ringtone. What a @#%&!

Remember very clearly the Ronaldo debut game for Inter... getting massively upstaged by a goofy young @#%&! called Recoba. Two of the best long range goals I've ever seen.

Although obviously having Elvis Costello on was a highlight

Some of the best football I've ever seen, & some of the best puns committed to the screen by the big man James Richardson (the insults were flying thicker & faster than the Spice Girls on Concorde / the best top of the table action since The Postman Always Rings Twice)

Serie A in the 90s was better than any league has been since. All the best players used to play there.

Fiorentina had Batistuta and they generally finished outside the top 4/5. Sums up how good that league was

Foreigner rule helped disperse the talent, you did not have clubs like Barca, Bayern and Madrid now who could cherry pick from around the globe. Squads were generally smaller as well.
