We have to take the lead and take the lead first.

Chelsea failed to do that against Bolton when we were at Wigan and fwiw I think that would have injected nervousness into us (2008. The news coming through they were up wouldnt have been welcome no matter how straight forward a game v Wigan is supposed to be. If theyre going to £#%&! it up Wigan are going to have to have their shooting boots on. 2-2 at very best. Chelsea will have lots of chances.

Another decent scenario would be us winning at a canter while theyre still only one up going into the last 10 minutes.

Whilst they might be possible scanarios, what will actually happen is that Chelsea will score within the first 10 minutes. They'll grab their 2nd before the 20th minute and the match will be over just before half time when they spank in their third.

We're talking about Wigan away to Chelsea ffs, they've only won 3 games away all season! Chelsea have only dropped points at home twice.

They've also scored a ridiculous number of goals since the new year, including 7 twice.

It's all very exciting. Reminds me of travelling to Leeds for the last game of the 79/80 season. A 21-0 win and the wait for the title would have been over.

"Chelsea saunter to 4-0 half time lead with wigan players playing connect 4 on the touchline, one of them appears to be wearing flip-flops. Didier Drogba scores the 5th despite being 20 yards offside, linesman dennis wise later said "i never saw him though, innit". John Terry scores the 6th goal and then, in a moment of rare emotion, grabs the microphone off stadium announcer Dave @#%&! and begins to serenade his wife with a wonderful rendition of "Number 1" by Tinchy Stryder feat. NDUBZ. Ashley cole tries to join in but is booed off. By his own family, who also £#%&!ing hate him.

Meanwhile, Stoke fight tooth and nail at old trafford despite having absolutely nothing to play for, with stoke players hurling themselves across the goal line before the game has even kicked off. United take the lead through a john o shea clearance. A controversial penalty is awarded in the 98th minute to stoke after a rory delap throw appears to be handballed by edwin van der sar. Special dispensation is allowed for Nick Hancock to come on and take the penalty which he buries in the top corner. 1-1."

Twas 10 I think

Yes Chelski *should* dispose of Wigan pretty easily but you never know. It wasn't after all *that* long ago they were deeply, deeply laboured in disposing of Bolton at home. If nerves kick in, and they play similarly on Sunday.........

Thumbs down Re: John Terry own goal hands united 4th title on the trot

Chelsea will be 3-0 up at HT. hth.

The Title has gone Lads, let's just hope that Terry & Gerrard both suffer career ending inuries on the last day of the season. It's the best we can hope for.
