that youngster mc carthy has looked really impressive, very good for his age and will get better and better, good shout.

He hasn't done badly but he is not at the level of Utd midfields of the previous 15 years which were able to dominate most games (Robson/Ince/Keane/Scholes).

I thought similar when I saw him for Wigan of late but I think we're best off not commenting on Irish players one way or the other on here RCR.

Mind, he's Scottish really anyway, maybe it's ok.
