T-clev thread gave me a reminder...

Remember the big man...always an early forum favourite, didn't Marlo used to knock about with him...

remember him doing his initials in car seats original Nu-Unied, Champagne Charlie...

Ended up retiring at 33 and going into the watch trade...

He was a grade a #@&%! which was a shame as went to an FA Youth Cup game at QPR and he stole the show. Said he would be a star. How wrong i was...

Good talent wasted....

When he hit it it stayed hit.

Decent work rate but very little else.

Remember the Semi Final v Watford at Villa park there were pretty audible boos when his name got announced coming on.

In his own mind, every bit as good as Tom Cleverley was in his.

Scored too didn't he?

Annoying little @#%&! though. Never as good as he thought he was.

Total non-scoring winger. Would have fitted right in during recent years.

In all seriousness, despite being a total non-entity for the entirety of his career the £5 million quid or so fee received fifteen years ago has only been bettered by a handful of players during the past 4/5 seasons. Says it all about the club's sale/contract policy under recent execs.

very big in the watch industry.

exclusive clientele and decent prices.

Still probably pulls in a championship level salary from it I’d assume.
