Good. Need the middle part of the premier league to start becoming better opposition to City.

2 weeks of Monchi being in their President of Football Operations & he's getting them Pau Torres & reportedly in discussions to sign Chiesa from Juve

He's the king of identifying & getting that Europa level player that can make a very decent side, then sell on for 2 or 3 times the original fee & keep building.

Almost like, it's a well run football operation

Monchi went to Villa? Had no idea.

Trading in those English chancers Gerrard & Purslow for Emery & Monchi

The absolute state of English football execs since Dein & Gill. Bloom the only one saving the entire nations blushes ..

Same - a mate sent me that earlier & mentioned it. Only happened two weeks ago, but it's a ridiculous upgrade isn't it

Big Dan Ashworth, Michael Edwards? Brian Marwood and John Williams don't get enough credit and at the lower level Mick Harford has worked wonders.

Still not entirely sold on Newcastle with that side until we see a second season .. wouldn’t be first time a mid-table team Over achieves then retreats .. of course if they go wild on transfers now all bets off

Interesting that Ashworth was under Bloom too though .. as was Benham who also deserves a shout out for what they’ve done at Brentford .. Bloom & his progeny have the formula down vs flash bravado of Levy & Woodwards of the world ..

Edwards good shout although Liverpool managed that squad into decline in his latter seasons .. ancient midfield & defence + Salah not far behind ..

For £35m that should be an excellent bit of business.

Who's the guy currently in Ibiza 'working on' the Onana deal?

In reality he's off his tits throwing shapes on all-dayers in Mambo.

These guys need to milk the gravy train for all its worth while they can i suppose.
