I'd be pissed if I was a spuds fan.

You gotta hand it to the gooners as well...

Now you can see why Wenger is considered a miracle worker. 2nd bottom spenders and the current league leaders. Dress that up any way you like, that's impressive.

Very, it's not just him that deserves credit-their scout system too.

Also impressive is this season's spend.

Fergie spent 40+ million on improving last season's best team and champions.

Wenger brought in almost 8 million and took last season's 4th best team to 5 points clear at the top of the league.

And still we had people complaining that Fergie wasn't given a boat load more cash in January to splash out on a striker.

Wonder it they've actually included Wenger's spending on these so called 'kid's

Some of them have cost a lot money e.g Diaby, Denilson, Walcott etc

Not taking it away from Arsenal though, Wenger has done a fantastic job.

Also worth remembering that Wenger sold what a lot of people considered to be his best player.

Wenger selling Henry was similar to us selling Ruud, both great players in their own right but holding the team back. We won the league the season after. I hate to say it but Arsenal remind me of us last season, no pressure playing freely. We'll see how they handle the pressure now.
