Very strange.

He didn't want to play just for money? Every other @#%&! does so what's the problem? I read it as no top club wants him and he isn't prepared to take a drop in wages or drop down a division.

he's probably just had enough of it mate. It does happen, especially when you become disillusioned with the sport. He doesn't need the money, he's probably a very well off young man considering what he probably earned at spurs and blackburn.

probably can't be arsed training with a load of #@&%!s who take the piss cos hes so much shitter than he was.

he's got a bucket load of cash. invest it wisely, sit in the garden.
