Still 3 or 4 transfers that to happen (De Gea / replacement, CB & a forward) before we really know what the squad will look like.

Even with the top quality signings we've made we still look a touch short of a genuine title challenge.

Will reserve judgement til at least the start of the season, if not end of August.

Still a stark staring lack of quality in attack for me. If Rooney has a spate of canttrapabagofcementitis we are going to be horribly toothless, just like last season. For all the talk about our defence and midfield last year, it was the lack of pace, power, movement and interplay between our forwards that was the biggest issue and just Depay isn't going to make enough of a difference.

September 1st when the window is shut & all the squads are finalised (still annoys the shit out of me that the window doesn't close before the season starts:shakehead: - I know the various Leagues start at different times, but £#%&! em. Just make August 1st the cut off date ffs)

Chelsea, Arsenal will be the other top 3. City? Can see them in 4th this year - they'll miss Milner (seriously).

If we can use Carrick sparingly to keep him fit and Rooney stays fit we will win it - but Chelsea are a team of winners, they'll be hard to dethrone.
