imo if we won all our remaining games we'd probably win the league. we won't obviously but if we win enough we'll make top 4.

What was good enough for 2nd last season, 72 points, won't get you even 5th place this time round.

Not complaining, that's just the way it is. But there's a chance we might be both happy with the league improvement and still miss out on top 4 such is the strength of it.

Yep. I'll be ecstatic if we miss out on the top 4 again. Over the moon in fact.

That would require one of United or Spurs to have a worse 2nd half of the season than their first which they are both disappointed by.

I think if Arsenal were going to miss it'd have happened in the last 2-3 years, reckon they'll be alright, Chelsea will win it and City's firepower will see them though. 1 from us, Spurs and Dippers, have to think we're the weakest of the 3 in terms of goal threat. Already 11 goals down on GD to the worst of those above us... gonna be tough.

Agree. As positive as I feel about united atm, I just can't see us being consistent enough to do it. Or rather, more consistent than those above us who will all drop points too. Obvs, that could all change.

I still think arsenal could/should be the one to drop out albeit I've thought that for years and they always pull something out of the bag.

Saturday is huge. After that we have a pretty easy run (not that that means much!).

Every game feels a bit like a cup final at the moment. We've got a tough month or so to get back into the race but if we do what we should do there's no reason to think we can't get top 4.

If we go into the Liverpool game within 4pts of them, you'd have to fancy us to finish above them.
