Interesting punishment technique. I like the cut of your jib.

Maguire is such a shit defender, just the mere possibility of him signing for Villa caused them to concede 2 goals & lose to a League 2 team.

That's a reasonable question & if you had'nt asked it, then Im sure that someone else would have done.

Surely someone would take him on loan for a season. Everton, Leicester and west ham must be so desperate that they'd pay the majority of his wages.

Those struggling sides would indeed be mad to pass on him.

Despite his obvious shortcomings he’s a pretty experienced player, he’d thrive on the cult hero status any of them would bestow on him.

I suppose them buying him in the next 2 weeks then moyse taking them down is too much to hope for.

I hope he goes to another club and does well to be fair to him.

Don't dislike the guy - he's a good defender but should never have been made captain and I think the pressure has got to him. Been a bit of a poisoned chalice for him.

If this does happen it'll be the 4th club he's relegated (Maguire)

Only player to do 2 in one season

Be crazy to let him go now unless we add another body to the squad (someone who can play rb/ch or ch/cm) as all it does is weaken the overall strength.

I really don’t think he does. We can get by without him, especially now that we’ve got Shaw as a very capable CB too.

If anything it would be a positive to get rid of him, and appoint a new Captain proper. That thing he does when he gets subbed on and immediately snatches the armband off Bruno just makes me cringe for everyone involved. If that’s anything to go by, then I’m sure he throws his weight around as captain behind the scenes too. What’s the point?
