Default Lou Macari

Congrats on the new centre

Impressed with the way Lou has quietly got on with helping out with the homeless. Not as high profile as Rashers but a a worthy cause all the same

Always had a soft spot for Lou. Remember hanging about outside OT during a weekday dinner time and spotted him coming out of the Developement Association building .We went over and he thought he were going to ask for an autograph .

No Lou we want money, you're rich . He laughed called us cheeky wee bastards and turned to leave

Go on Lou just a tenner . He turned still laughing and gave us a fiver and walked off still laughing

It was 15p in the Scoreboard at the time

Always felt he was a touch lightweight on the pitch, great talent just a couple of inches/stone short.

Great fella.

There's a very good MUTV documentary about his life and career. Think it's called "Lou Macari - My Life in Film."

There's a good one about John Gidman as well.

Top man Lou.

I always thought he was a god pundit on MUTV. He got the balance right, he gave criticism where necessary but backed the team too, sensibly.

He wouldn't do well on here.
