Should have given the penalty and booked Salah for diving.

It’s either a foul or offside.

Mane has gone through defender and keeper, lunged, off the ground and out of control and got nowhere near the ball, no yellow card

They're basically going to complain about VAR regardless, aren't they. That is exactly how it should be used, and still Carragher is moaning.

Van Dyke missing isn't going to be much of an issue in games like this where teams turn up and just wait to get beat.

Teams really do need to show more belief against this lot

West Ham haven’t. They’ve had the better chances second half.

They could’ve scored a couple 2nd half, Liverpool’s only shot on target prior to the second goal was from the penalty thanks to Salah’s dive.

Liverpool undoubtedly lucky here, the jammy sods. But that's two successive home "bankers" that they have laboured in.

And yet they're top of the league with 16 points. They don't have to be amazing every week, just better than the rest of the shite in this league.

City next week should be a better barometer than West Ham missing their best player.

Helps when Salah can scream and fall over whenever they’re struggling to get them a penalty.

Pretty easy run of fixtures apart from Chelsea and Arsenal tbf. Last season they would have won the lot, that's the difference.

Playing devils advocate it’s probably also while they’ll go on to win it. The ability to keep picking up those wins.
