Thought he was too slow when he signed. Underwhelming signing given we had been hoping for Vidal. Did alright initially, but didn’t get the love Bunks/Ether had for him in his first year either. Then his second year he was outstanding; demonstrated that he could be a very good player for a team playing out from the back.

Mou was always going to be a bad fit for him and I expect we have been trying to sell him for the last 12 months at least. Taken a pay-cut to rejoin Ajax which is a nice story. Wouldn’t surprise to see him move on to Italy or Spain in a year or two.

Thanks for the memories Daley. I will never forget you.

They’re delighted, this is their version of Pogba coming back.
