One of our rivals have signed another attacking threat to add to their extremely potent strike force. Talk about dodged bullets..

What would you have said if we signed him pal, out of curiosity?

Decent option to have from the right and someone that can offer something different from the bench. Bargain at £14m.

Are we still pretending everyone our rivals sign is a bit shit and not good enough for United? Or is it that we are so strong and potent in attack that the only improvements can be found in Madrid, Barca or Turin? Or that we have a bottomless pit of cash and will soon be signing Bale and Perisic for those problem wide roles?

I know he's not fashionable, and I'd prefer we signed Mbappe, but he's a decent option to have who's a bit different to what we have.

My Name is Heath

Thumbs down

Clearly I'm out of sync here but do I not like that?

He's clearly a talented player and the sort of drama queen who will do well with the dippers.

They will be getting eagle Kosovo tattoos or whatever he was in trouble for in the WC asap.

In Furmeano and Manny they have 2 workhorses.

Salah is Salah.

Big Shaq will have the sort of ego where he could well thrive in that victim mentality set up and take some creative pressure off SAlah.

Not. Happy. This could be a match made in hell.

Keita, Fabinho, and Shaqiri is excellent business. If they get a keeper they’ll go close this season imo.

He's decent cover for a smallish fee.

However, a keeper isn't going to sort their defensive issues. They'll still get penetrated more frequently than Stormy Daniels in the next 12 months.

Good fee but can see their fans hating him by January. Would have been a good buy for Everton.

Aside from his goal in the World Cup, he looked shit any time I saw him.

Lots of huffing and puffing when he gets the ball ending in a shit cross/pass/shot and disappointment pretty much every time.

Having said that, Klopp is the Keegan of his day and seems to be able to get a tune out of most by blowing hot air up their arses. Everything is awesome with him. Wouldn't be surprised if that quote from Lovren about being "one of the best defenders in the world" is a line Klopp fed him directly.

Put it this way, had we signed him, Jose would have got destroyed on here.
