You don't have to copy their songs or have a guy with a megaphone but getting as organised as them would do wonders for our support

But but but....the singing action won't be like the Ali Sami Yen. It'll be more like that corner of complete £#%&!ing #@&%!es at Crystal Palace. Look at anything SEF and Tufty have been involved in. Utter cringery. Let's not try to be something we're not.

I'm not one for being in an ultras group, too old for all that shit now. But when people £#%&! themselves off over the atmospheres at River Plate/Boca Junior etc... do they thing the great atmospheres there just happen by a load of random lads turning up at the ground 2 minutes before kick off? There needs to be some sort of organisation if you want to create a decent atmosphere in a 76000 all seater stadium (for most games).

Any singing section should be unreserved seating/pay on the gate.

I've nothing against it - anything to stop the hear a pin drop moments we've had at old Trafford for years now. And it's how it used to be - fans used to congregate near like minded fans in the stretty, united road or k who sang most of the time and in moments of high excitement, other areas of the ground joined in too. Not sure why this can't be the same.

The best solution would be unreserved standing/seating which given our current manager, may come sooner rather than later.

You organise a section of the ground so that it is only filled by your hardcore support who are able and willing to sing for the whole match

You don't need someone with a megaphone telling fans what to sing but that works very well in the rest of Europe
