He'll get binned once the season is over, low key as possible. No weekly press conferences, no players at training getting ambushed by hacks on the way out. Much easier managed amid the world cup build up. Also assuming there's a clause in his contract that allows a cheap sacking should he fail to get top four. Technically that hasn't happened yet.

He'll probably get it now and save his job.
Woody and the chaps probably think qualifying for the Europa will appease the fans.

That's probably true + the revenue, yet I don't think I know one red who wants to be in the stupid thing. Its shit. If you win it you get the honour of being 17th best team in Europe

It don't give a toss we haven't won it before, we haven't won the Thomas Cook Trophy either.

That's true. However, a big part of why it took them that long is financial. They didn't have the muscle to turn things around more quickly. It was different times - no mega commercial deals, etc. We're in a completely different scenario and will be fine if we just get rid of the wrinklebomb in charge.

I think they're more arsed about the gate money off playing all of the Europa games than what the fans feel about things. When Woodward suggested we'd be fine if we didn't qualify for the champions league I'm not sure if he was assuming that we'd miss out narrowly and enter the Europa league.

Do they £#%&!. They'll make more money on our pre-season tour and our sponsors will probably get more exposure than if we won the Europa league ffs.

The £#%&!ing shame of it.

It simply isn't possible to underachieve to the levels that he has unless you're grossly incompetent.

The fact he's still in a job & is likely to still be in it this time next year is breathtaking when you consider the size of the Club & the expectancy levels.
He isn't, you know. Though he IS just about the worst manager who could be in charge of us - not *quite* the same thing.

Looking at some pics of him recently MJ, you might just get your wish

Maybe it is his own family that will finally make the decision for him? Stranger things have happened......

He's a flukey bastard.

Gets Arsenal away when they've just been obliterated at Anfield and are petrified of losing. Gets Newcastle away when they're already on the beach. Gets Everton away after they've suffered a crushing home defeat. Southampton away will be a nothing game on the final day.

We'll claim the points on Sunday. Our first 'big away performance' of the season etc

Maybe because they already had their mind on Sunday to some extent?

That game will also be an interesting test of Martinez's credentials, nqat.

I know that, you know that , the rest of the world know that.
but do the people who make the decisions know that , thats the big question.

its like when the england job came up, everyone new the job was made for harry rednapp.but the only person who thought different was the @#%&! who made the decision.

But on the other hand they'll see Dithering Dave's timid Utd as the perfect opportunity to bounce back from their respective defeats
