Ronaldo 96/97. Phenomenon. Scary to think how many awards/trophies he would have won if not for those injuries.

Rob Lee that season for Newcastle when he was ace.
Dalian Atkinson when Villa came second to us and he was in goal of the month all the time.
Ruud in 02/03.

Good call.

The best season by anyone, ever.

Fact.

Shame he never won La Liga that year.

My favourite ever player.

Still the best

I wonder if there's a striker that took it round the keeper to score as many times in their career as he managed in that one season utterly £#%&!ing awesome. In a World where Gareth Bale cost £86m, wtf would a '96 vintage Ronaldo go for

He could've been the best ever if it wasn't for the injuries.

One player I wished had've played for us. Hell, I'd even take him now.

1996/97

Not many players can literally blag their way into a Premier League side. Albeit for 15 minutes.

Ronaldinho '05-'06

26 goals, 23 assists, took the piss out of everyone, won the treble with Barca, Confed Cup with Brazil, World Player of the year in 2005 as well.

Skip to 1m in to see actual football, turn off the sound (standard)
