West Ham looked the more likely to win it at the end. Chelsea were given an early Christmas present by the linesman.

Chelsea are there for the taking, but will probably win the league anyway.

It is an odd league this year, no outstanding side, the usual top 4 all have issues while the second tier clubs, Villa, Spurs, City are all capable of beating anyone.

My instinct is to say that Utd of 06-08 or the Chelsea of Mourinho would walk this league, but the lack of draws mean that the points totals are not too bad, Both Utd and Chelsea look likely to get between 80-85 points, not that huge a drop from recent years, but the dominance is not there.

It is there to be won, Arsenal have a chance as well despite their obvious frailties.
