We should have won it that year anyway, MJ.
Instead we choked - only honest word for it - against a (with all due respect) palpably inferior Leverkusen side; one of the very, *very* few times that has happened under SAF And the following season, just for the happier record, we had lost 5 games by Xmas (or was it 6??) |

Well, we should have got to the Final at least Beckham & Keane got injured in the QF didn't they??...can't remember if they made it for the first leg of the Semi. Either way, we deserved to reach the Final in 2002 & 2003 in my opinion, but that's the way it crumbles....cookie wise. |
