there is no doubt he is the most inform striker in world football. has scored more league goals than games started for barcelona.

close to becoming their main man and also scoring goals, making assists and a few nice flicks while doing this.
things i thought were mutually exclusive.

Zlatan Ibrahimović Sweden Internazionale

Not really overwehlming backing you suggest. The lad has had a good start to his life at Barca but with the exception of the Classico this season he's never really shone in big games, in fact his lack of goals in big games has drawn comment from many quarters that he only tends to score aginst smaller teams.
Still it is nice to see that the deal to sign him that some people have quoted as up to 60 million euros (dependant on the totally subjective value of eto'o) hasn't made the knitware clad one look silly.

do you think the award is for their performances this season?

he scored in el classico and 11 of barca's 13 goals this season....so i dont know what you are on about.

Its not too difficult to understand. I don't think it even flies in the face of what you said that badly. Zlatan has always underachived against bigger sides and that has cost his reputation, so far this season we haven't seen that and if it stays that way he may go on to be up there on the Ronaldo/Messi level in terms of players reputations. A goal in the last 16 of the champs league might not hurt either.

id say there are.

their fluidity isn't affected by the zlatan as he is no snail and can make the forward runs.

he also gives them an extra dimension.a target.(their madrid goal was a ball that was won the the air by zlatan who shrugged off pepe and made the pass in the build up)

its also worth remembering there were so fluid against chelsea they struggled to score.

i don't think barca fans opinions will be split the way ours are over our new striker.

zlatans start is the equivilent of scoring in every start this season, 4 assists and the winner against liverpool at home.

You have to remember Barcelona have been without Iniesta and Messi for most of the season.

Ibra has been class for them, can't argue with that.

City at home you mean

Or maybe Chelsea

And they haven't played Chelsea yet, either.
