I think its a dig at Rashford & Martial . Also a less than subtle request for money. Hard to drop Lukaku when he hasn't scored given the criticism of Rom & the way resting him whilst not scoring would be perceived , easier to rest him in next game if he scores v Saints

Maybe he's saying he could rest lukaku if he had another left sided attacker to put on the left then he could maybe put rashford or Martial up front.

But he didn't get the left sided player he wanted.

More likely he's wary of resting/dropping Lukaku and we click when he's not in the team with either Rashford/Martial up front.

Meanwhile Jose arrives, has England captain, doesn’t like. Replaced with German footballer of the year, doesn’t like. Wants more money.

Btw Pogba cost more than any City midfielder and Lukaku more than any City forward. Are we really moaning that they spent more on full backs?

Honestly this is the type of shit Sparky and AK47 are supposed to moan about on here, not the manager. Ideally he’s not quite so obsessed with Guardiola.

Erm, we've never signed german footballer of the year That was Kevin de Bruyne in 2016 wasn't it?

Go back to summer 2016, compare Mou's squad with Peps squad

Which do you think would be the one that needed £500m to be spent on it? Us or Citys?

Good you mention Lukaku and Poggy, them alone cost £160m, half of what mous spent.. Due to the mistakes of your guy lvg and moyes, we need to spend more.

Some people seem to think that the cast of spineless euro shit @#%&!s that Van Gaal left us with don't need upgrading.

As for pulling out the Rooney 'england captain' card. £#%&!ing hell. Is he even still playing for England now?

Who cares about attractive football and development of youth when you've got press conference truth nukes.

Just need some 'boiled piss' and a big game line-up without a striker now.

The Treble looms large...

LvG left mou with a truly demoralised squad. A really THIN squad as well after sacking legends like Rafael, Di maria, Chicharito, Nani, RvP etc without a seconds thought.

Completely taken the heat off the players after 2 bad results though, hasn't he.

Got them all dancing to his tune, once again.

And when he's got his own 11 together, instead of Fergie, Moyes and Van Gaal's hand-me-downs, then we'll see what's what.

Every single one of the haters, both inside the United circle and outside of the United circle will have their faces rubbed in it.

If they thought it was painful to see United win leagues and european cups before. Just wait till united do it under big mou. There will be tears and blood shed.

City’s needed loads of work. Hence it getting it.

Part of the problem with ours is the failure to develop the young talent, which was the main basis of what was left. If Shaw, Mensah, Rashford and Martial has developed the way De Bruyne, Sterling and Stones have, as they could, maybe we wouldn’t be as desperate for another half billion.
