Like most good wind up's this one has basis in truth. They will hurt some teams this year. Luckily their manager will probably be coaching Bayern Munich next year, half their team will be injured by January and anyone who excels at Anfield will be picked off by teams not seen as a stepping stone. Then it's back to challenging Everton for a Uefa spot.

Bayern lost yet again, their 5th loss of the summer without scoring a single goal.

Trust the scousers to get giddy over a friendly.

Will be a very nasty wake up call for them this season, barely added to the squad and now have to contend with european football.
