Yeah we absolutely should not lay any blame at Mourinho's door if we struggle against Leicester.
Yeah coz that was the point and that's how football world

Concerns over struggling are not because I think Leicester are good mate.

HTH.
Pretty strange argument for the best team in Europe to fail in the CL again tbf.

We'll still probably end up giving them Pogba.

That 5 minutes where we thought we were signing Godin has to be the highlight of the window so far.

They're not "great signings" at all. They're a couple of barcelona reserves. They'll be better than what Everton currently have which is £#%&!ing Schneiderlin but we £#%&!ing laughed our heads off when they were offered for Pogba and rightly so.

The fact that Everton have actually out spent us 2 summers running is just mind blowing tbh.

Truly depressing.

Yes, the pressure from Mourinho has made it feel even worse but it's absolutely mental that we haven't been able to but at lease a centre back.

Who would have though 15 years ago that the club could operate like this? We genuinely don't have a clue what we're doing. The club should have controlled expectations but instead they did the exact opposite. They allowed Mourinho to run his mouth, they briefed the media on Maguire, Savić, Mina etc... and we've been made to look like an absolute laughing stock.

It's impossible to think this season is going to go well. There's such a dark cloud over the club at the moment and if we don't get any sort of result tomorrow the pressure on Mourinho and the players is going to be unbearable for them. These are not the conditions for a team to thrive.

An absolute farce of a summer that will no doubt damage us for years.

If results go the wrong way in the first 10 games, Mourinho will go full on £#%&!ing depressive/mental mode. He'll be mightily £#%&!ed off the club haven't sorted out his targets, and be on a downer from now on. Out by Christmas.
