He's not stupid, just very very impulsive. So he's liable to make a very good point, then the next day make another very good point that's also completely at odds with the good point he made yesterday.

Rather entertaining actually. Especially when O'Herlihy pulls him up on it and he sees his arse. He usually covers it by snarling at Brady though.

never EVER gets pointed out what an inept decision it was either.

I think theyre all the more sour we went on to when with an incredibly wet goal in the 90th minute of that match.

yeah not when Di Canio pushed a red over a few months earlier or Stamford Bridge 2009 when Barca put out Chelsea.

Chelsea Barca when Jose et all got the ref to quit as well didnt they?

Or the ref for England Portugal in Euro 2004. All much bigger cases of it

Someone made a great point, think it was Bors, regarding the 'respect' campaign. You have to earn respect. A lot of refs get basic decisions wrong and don't explain their decisions, and some of them swan around the pitch trying to be a part of it all and be centre of attention.
