Good result. Think Lafferty is better coming off the bench with fresh legs tbh. Have to remember it was Italy - people being disappointed with the result ffs.

4 points from those opening two fixtures is a great start to the campaign. A win on Tuesday and we'll have put ourselves in amongst it.

Edit: Serbia losing to Estonia won't have done us any harm.

They're allowed to play for us too. Neil Lennon was an exception because he was/is very £#%&!ing ugly. Lafferty plays for Rangers but I'm not entirely sure of his family background.

Yes, I know but never understood why they'd want to.

Because they played for the schoolboys team, and because it's where they grew up. Plus footballers probably don't give much of a £#%&! about politics

They consider themselves Northern Irish, the British/Irish thing doesn't really come into it.

Dont forget Lennon was a Catholic who had the cheek to play for Celtic while turning out for his country and thats why he got grief, just like Anton Rogan the pair of cheeky £#%&!ers.

Niall McGinn plays for both now without so much as a boo.

can't believe they've been invited to play us in Dublin in may. If it's a qualifier then fair enough but for a friendly? suppose, there's never been trouble at lansdowne before though.

They're just as welcome as anyone else tbf, I'm just surprised they'd arrange a friendly.
