100% - shameful how exposed it is now - Fergie controlled it, moyes wasn’t ever at the races, lvg was too much of a gent and went along with it but obviously mou being mou has done his hate everyone act and the club and players have publically responded in kind.

Have to largely blame mou for being a cantankerous @#%&! but the club itself are a £#%&!ing disgrace.

That's how Mou rolls these days. Nothing about his tenure has surprised, from the conflict, the football and him not quite being as good as he was. But he's entitled to think he's been hired for a role based on his reputation, only for the club to decide that it's now what they want after all. And after a new contract. At least Mou is consistent and knows what he is. Since Fergie United haven't had the first idea.

remember under van gaal when we were looking hopeless, then he decided to drop the star names di maria, falcao and van persie? and we ended up going on a run where we battered spurs, liverpool and city within the space of a month, playing the best football united had played since fergie, ruined only by carrick getting injured.

say what you want about van gaal but that was a ballsy move. jose needs to do something similar. drop lukaku and pogba, get martial up top (arguably our best performance last season was everton away when he played in that position) and play a midfield three of fred, matic and pereira.

show some balls jose.

Di Maria helped him out a bit there by making a complete £#%&!wit of himself v Arsenal and getting suspended. But it was nice.

Oh £#%&!, you’ve only gone and pressed the orange button. Did you not see the sign above the button which says ‘don’t press this button’?

Mou drew attention to that because he doesn't want the club to be comfy sacking him. By this point I reckon Ed is waiting for a bit of open dissent and a few more bad results to give the excuse to pull the trigger. Mou portraying he has the fans onside slows that down.

But again, I'm sure he knows it's all going to end badly. And maybe sooner than expected.

Spot on.

The fact is the only clear opening in that half was courtesy of a Danny Rose £#%&! up. The added tempo and energy while a pleasant surprise is only such because it is a £#%&!ing rarity. When that level of work rate should be the bare minimum at Old Trafford.

Fergie once said this:

"The moment the manager loses his authority, you don't have a club. The players will be running it, and then you're in trouble"

Happened under Van Gaal too

Will more than likely happen under the next manager as well.

LvG actually used that word authority a few times, including during that recent interview with Shreeves.

Although I think he felt outside perception of him undermined him. Especially his assistant's mates slagging him every week

But the club are doing as much to undermine Mou's authority as any player. Fergie may not love Jose but he must think it's a joke.

And no manager is going to have authority at united again, with Woodward making it clear the commercially important players are what matter. Can’t sell them, can’t discipline them, cant drop them, can’t upset them. Let them behave and play how they want or you’re £#%&!ed.

What Woodward is doing to him is similar to what they did with that Milton character in 'office space', they'll move his desk into the basement next.
