Oh yeah, I too would much rather watch Firmino in that number 9 role, an attacking midfielder pressed into action as a striker as he wasn’t good enough as an AM in the PL and the only other striker they had was Origi

Fans love doing that. I wouldn't have half their players in my side! Yes, because they're opposition players and you hate them

I saw a quote by Jordan £#%&!ing Henderson saying that as long as they keep doing what they're doing it will click and no one can live with it................

That arrogance goes back years. Gerrard used to give it "we play like that then opposition teams will get a hiding" nonsense.

Stupid @#%&!s.

That's klopp filling their heads with his chest-pumping, wide-eyed zeal. It's all running, it's all high-tempo tearing about the pitch, which is great when it works but just look what City did to them.

Down to 10 men and they were still tearing about the pitch, leaving huge gaps everywhere. 2-0 down at the beginning of the 2nd half and they didn't have a single clue how to manage the game or try and get themselves back into it beyond Klopps bombastic 'gegenpress' crap.

Plus it doesn't work for them when they have to play two games a week. They fell apart last season when the cup competitions got going in the new year.

You could tell by his post match on Saturday that beating Leicester meant EVERYTHING to them. He was proper hyped. Nothing wrong with wanting to win of course, but to be giving EVERYTHING in September is a bit much. Emotionally they're so up and down that they'll be spent by Christmas, never mind being physically drained. No doubt Klopp has his plus points but efficiently managing a team of young men to achieve a long term aim appears to be completely beyond him.

Klopp is arguably the single biggest fraud in football he's living of 3 trophies in his 17 years as a manager. A Liverpool lad at work match goer older guy can't stand him it's all about him the fist pumping the geeing the crowd he's had enough of weetabix teeth.

Yep. This is why I can't be doing with managers who go straight to the top shelf for their celebration of an equaliser against Watford in mid September.

BT studio was at it again last night 'cheer up Jose'

Dya think maybe he's pacing himself? Maybe not getting too excited seven games in to the season ? Maybe he realises there's some big games coming up that could completely change the complexion of the season's start?

What was his biggest celebration last year?

On the pitch in the EL. With his son. After winning a major trophy and qualifying for the CL.

Thought the same last night watching his interview. He's already focused on Saturday, not beating some Russian nobodies in a routine game.

Eeeexactly.

A genuinely odd moment. Even the fawners were a bit Keane Gif about it.

Look at the players faces. They're not comfortable.

Milner's face reeks of 'I've won the league ffs'

To be fair, he did a fantastic job at Dortmund; and they seemed to have little problem at the business end of the season, though the German winter break was probably huge for them. You just can’t keep losing your best players every season and not be affected eventually.

That said, he’s losing his marbles completely over here. He’s easily the most annoying @#%&! on any touchline, anywhere. Let’s hope BM pinch him back when they bin Ancellotti and the scouse end up with Big Sam.

Lost 14 times in his final season. Out of 34 games. Scored 47 goals, finishing 7th in a league with only a couple of quality sides.

The following season under Tuchel they won 24 out of 34 and scored 84 goals, and Weigl was the only major signing brought in.

You'd imagine his zany personality is enough to lift a side, especially one where he's brought in mid season and the mood is dark. But it'd grate after a while. Footballers are smart enough to recognise a numpty when they see one.
