An upgrade on last year's links to McGinn and Winks. Would take for set-pieces alone.

I’m sure one or two years ago the rounds were doing Matty or Sean longstaff for 45 million

Philips, Rice, JWP. I see the scouts are really earning their corn.

Think he's great

One of the best at set pieces in the league. Obviously a piss take of a fee.

Never once noticed him on the pitch if he wasn’t taking a corner or free kick. A less gruesome Charlie Adam. A hard pass.

Hasn't he not missed a minute in the PL for two seasons or something? We'll probably buy him and he'll do his cruciate whilst signing the contract.

Same.

Is he right sided or central midfielder?

Takes a good set piece but thought he was just an average midfielder other than that?

Tbf that would make him our best midfielder.

Don’t need him once Garner is back. Doesn’t he have the most direct assists from corners in the Championship or something?

(Just made that up but feels right)

Other clubs seem to scout and sign players for low fees, improve them and turn them in to top players.

We do the reverse.
