People next to me in Stretty lower never took cup games so always had randomers next to me. One older couple ten minutes before half time, set up a picnic on their knees and refused to let anyone past and said to me "if you wanted to go down you should have left earlier"

Remember when the South Stand was my regular ticket. AC Milan, Champions League with the younger brother in law - he must've been 18. Anyway, we're sat next to a group of what appear to be right posh @#%&!s. They even had blankets over their legs and a packed lunch open during the game.

The brother in law starts singing and at least two of these helmets told him that "I'm sorry, but we don't sing or stand here. Could you sit down before we call a steward?"

You can imagine the response.

Lady Rouge - Vibrante born and bred has attended two games.

Game 1 in 1996 - at half time "Is that end of Part One?"
Game 2 in 2012 - "How are the Valencia twins doing?"

Those £#%&!ing shirts won't iron themselves. That's why a Latvian woman does them.

Got loads grief off a woman for blocking her view in stretty 2 (worst)

we were unfurling loads of LUHG banners at the time
Her dad just told her to shut up (best)
Then the stewards almost threw me over the stand
In the end the coppers threatened to arrest the stewards and let us go

Took Mrs. Z to the Maccabi Haifa game all those years ago. 'Is that Giggs?' she asked. It was Barthez doing stretching exercises. I admonished her and some woman behind her tapped her on the shoulder and said 'I'm glad you asked, I was wondering that'. She (the missus) also thought it was a bookable offence to hit the post.

It really was a cool story.

How on earth could somebody think you got booked for hitting the post?

Punishable anyway, I'm not sure she understood even the concept of bookings tbh.

As if that explains it

Wasn't a United game but, some bint beside us at Lansdowne road back in the 90's was wondering why Ian Rush was refereeing the match.

Immense perfume though.....The woman beside us, not the Ian Rush lookalike Ref
