It's very story like how in the end the much lesser, and less obvious hero was the one who conquered and lived to tell the tale.

I say much lesser, Charlton was of course one of the best players of the 1960s and is an all time Manchester United & England great but Dunc was the T-34 of footballers. If Munich didn't happen we'd count our European Cups on two hands and England's World Cup count could be swapped with Brazil's.
