If in the unlikely event he scores for England he should do a machine gun celebration aiming at the press , hopefully some Russian gangster [ Abramovich seething about his visa] will run on & give him a real gun
He should a bayonet on it now

Often it is because someone refused to cooperate with them on something else. Bitter and vindictive @#%&!s. Feels like this with Sterling. This has been going on for few years with him now. Relentless.

Yes there is the race thing. Obviously. But there’s more imo

Fair play to the lad.

He's spot on.

That hype around his tattoo was ridiculous and he's right to point it out and the double standard in the media.

I saw the clip of him getting shit too. Disgusting animals. There's even a few in the crowd who seem embarrassed by it, including a black guy about three rows across.

He's had unfair treatment for absolute sure. But £#%&! off with the violin for the young players who have worked very hard to buy a 2.5m house by 20. £#%&! very off.

It's totally detached from reality and a bit let them eat cake.

Yes they are incredibly privileged, doesn’t mean they should just have to take the deliberate slant in coverage.

This much is true, but to ascribe it to racism is a load of %@#$&!s. The negative slant they took probably has more to do with him being a tool who who provided plenty of (ahem) ammunition. It wasnt the press who decided to accuse him of beating up not one but two of his girlfriends, nor did they force him to inhale laughing gas, or get an ill judged tattoo of a gun for some bullshit ‘deeper reason’ to do with his no good absent father being murdered by one in Jamaica.

“23-year-old Sterling said the new tattoo reflected a vow he made to 'never touch a gun' after his father was shot dead in Kingston.”

Not really such a big ask as to require a tattoo. The lad’s clearly a bit of a #@&%! who’s brought it on himself, and as everyone - even millionaire footballers - gets to be a victim these days he’s playimg the race card so that any criticism of his #@&%!bery is racist. Is Saffers doing his PR?

Not the players fault though is it. It’s the system’s fault.

As for the media; lies, spin, manipulation, divide and rule is its purpose within that system.
