If spurs turn that down then they are £#%&!ing stupid.

They are a £#%&!ing one man team at the moment... and investing £100m into that squad will be far more beneficial for them in the long term than just hanging onto bale for another £#%&!ing year.

They had too many good players to be simply playing through just Bale anyway. Holtby, Dembele, Lennon, Sandro and Paulinho is a proper midfield.

Replace Bale with Soldado, Bernard and a couple of defenders of Verthongens class and you suddenly have a title challenging team and squad.

£86m for Bale. That deal is done with the £35m deal for Carroll in mind. Both as wtf as eachother.

the reason they missed out on 4th is because their squad is so £#%&!ing weak. When bale & defoe got injured they couldn't score to save their lives.

Of course the money's obscene, but I doubt the £86mill is anything other than paper talk tbh

Both prefer to be on the left, as a rule. Although, Bale seems to think he's a No.10 these days I suppose.

not necessarily. both could play either side of a front 3 with benzema as the main striker.

irrramendi (sp?) alonso and ozil in a midfield three.
