Bale really is a complete and utter £#%&!er, but he will destroy teams in Spain.

He clearly loves himself and wants to become a brand, which is why he probably sees Madrid as the ideal club to promote himself.

The awful designer haircut, the operation he had to pin back his ears (which for some reason never gets mentioned as much as Rooney's hair transplant), and the cringeworthy 'heart' celebration all show where his priorities are.

It will be interesting to see how his ego fits in with Ronnie's, who as well all know has the biggest ego in the history of the modern game. The only difference is Ronaldo has the achievements to back his ego up.

I think there's a good chance he'll bomb tbh.

Madrid fans will be expecting another Ronaldo for that money and he's not at that level. Strikes me as a complete bumpkin as well.

He'll need to hit the ground running.
