Cool Dat Guy Welbz

Been saying it since last season, but he's clearly one of the most important players we've got, and is now becoming crucial to the first XI. Probably never going to be a prolific goalscorer, but such an effective player to have in the attack.

Good to see the £#%&!wit Sky pundits finally realising it, but as said, 'Welbz iz dat guy'. No WUM, he probably needs to be starting games as our first-choice wide player.

Would love to see Mata, Kagawa and Welbz as a three behind Rooney or Van Persie.

Love him, brilliant without the round thing at his feet.

If he could just improve on the ball, he would be priceless.

Welbeck on current form should be starting ahead of Januzaj. Januzaj is still a teenager, needs to learn more.

welbeck is a very useful player. I would not put my house on him 1-on-1 with the keeper, but still.... welbz got skilz.

Thought he did really well tonight, stretched the opposition with his runs off the ball, committed defenders with his runs on the ball. To be honest I hate seeing the line up and see Wellbeck on the wing, but given a choice of him, Young or Valencia he is by far the best option

Should have played sunday obviously. Did well tonight, stretched them and made some nice runs.

Been playing well since the end of December to be honest. Deserves his place.

should definitely start more games. it's the only way he'll improve.

he'll be a fine player once he works out how long his legs are.

He can't cross so can't be a winger, can't shoot so he can't be a striker. So what the £#%&! is he?
