Stones, Otamendi and Kyle Walker concede goals because of comedic errors as often as Jones and Smalling, but as I understand it the overarching theory is that Smalling and Jones are so bad at distributing the ball from the back that poor Jose is forced to play shit on a stick football.

Jose of course arrived as the great white hope to end the shit on a stick football we played under Van Gaal, which in an ironic twist we played then because Van Gaal was a past it coach trading off his history.

If we can just sign Harry " t'Libero Grande" Maguire, Mourinho will be able to show us the full flower of his famous attacking football.

Otamendi, Stones, Kompany and whoever else are nothing to £#%&! over. What current centre-backs are ffs? It doesn’t matter for city as they’ve got midfielders who you can’t get the ball from. We should be trying to get one of those IMH but impeccable O.

Yep. I've said that all along too.

United should be going all out for players like Brandt and Griezmann and players that actually attack and create things. Instead Mourinho is concentrating on stockpiling goalkeepers and £#%&!ing fullbacks, and centre halves the fraud. We've got about 17 goalkeepers at the club. £#%&! Mourinho.

Only three of the players Mourinho has signed have been defenders tbf. With blind on the verge of leaving and Darmian soon to follow that’s two defenders down and we need better players than Smalling, Jones and Rojo.

Grant was obviously signed to allow Periera and Henderson the chance to go on loan to gain first team experience.

So you’re fine with United’s full backs then?

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight

As for Jones and Smalling, one of them literally cost us a cup final 2 £#%&!ing months ago.

The real Otamendi was shown up in the World Cup. As individuals Jones and Smalling are better defenders.

I’ve said Valencia is shite for years; Mourinho made him captain

The guy is a joke. You’ll come round soon enough, you always do.

Degea (goes without saying)
Trippier, Rose to replace Valencia and Young (both given good service, but need to go to pasture)
Maguire alongside Bailly, - defence sorted,

Mouth watering midfield;
Pogba, Matic, Fred (Herrera first reserve)

Any combination of 3 (depending on the opposition) from
Sanchez, Lingard, Lukaku, Rashford, Martial

Can't wait!!

Ridiculous decision to make the most experienced and consistent player in the squad captain. Mout!

In reality now that Chelsea - the one major team who played as or more defensively than us last year - are hiring Sarri, our approach to football is probably going to be shown up even more. Bring it on

Still, can just blame Phil Jones.

And to think we've got a whole season of him and Smalling to come. United really do spoil us.

In defence of the useless £#%&!ing lummocks it's not like he did the exact same thing 2 months ago or anything against the same player.
