Looking great for Utd this season. Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs are not real threats, Chelsea have a far higher workload coming this season and City still look to have a soft center. Fast start and Utd will be hard to catch.
No, they asked for permission to make it smaller and were told to £#%&! off.

Spurs are going to be in trouble here, not only because of playing 38 away matches, but the pitch doesn't suit their pressing game and their squad will not be able to handle the fatigue and injuries they'll pick up later on. They are a really good team and will still win many more than they'll lose, but WHL was a fortress for them last year and will be a big loss.

The other elephant in the room for them is their wage structure. No way Danny Rose was speaking in isolation. It's just not realistic in this day and age to expect players to be happy knowing they could get three times their salaries and pick their destination, no matter how 'one of our own' the player in question is. They better enjoy Kane, Alli and Pochettino while they can.

Yes, somewhat sad in a way, they built a very good first 11 than can compete with any team in the league, just do not have the resources to invest in the squad and push on. Not sure of the finances but this new Stadium could send them on a similar path to Arsenal when they were building The Emirates, nothing more than a fringe contender.

That year Leicester won the league, be a long time before Spurs get a better chance.

Agree. And Arsenal have/had a lot more resources than Spurs.

It would have been difficult for them to keep their best players anyway, because they'll never be seen as the ultumate destination, but everything that's going on now will just accelerate that unless Levy completely scraps their structure, and that doesn't sound like Levy to me.

Chelsea had four shots on target in the cup game and scored four. Two shots on target today and scored both...

Two free kicks, Lloris howler, Matic worldie and a penalty make up four of the six goals - fair to say Chelsea just have their number.

In this market Kane would go for at least 130 and get 300k pw minimum. Alli would go for 100+ and get 250pw. At the moment I think they're on 100/80k. How long they going to stick around if Spurs start heading in the wrong direction?

on the radio it said Walker now pays more tax per week than Rose earns at Spurs each week.

The best thing Spurs could do is get them all on proper contracts, then buy anybody...they'll do neither and sell up next season when they crash and burnnnnn.

Not Levy; he squeezes a pound 'til the queen screams at the best of times. Now with the stadium to pay for, no chance.

They'll be up there, they have some very good players.
Arsenal had sub-par results when they played some CL games at Wembley. People aren't thinking Spurs might struggle similarly just because of wishful thinking.

They have lost 7 of their last 10 games too, could go spectacularly, hilairiously pear shaped
