Dunk's right on this - Rojo is decent but Jones is the better CB. Rojo's main advantage is his left foot and ability to play fullback

Injuries are holding Jones back, he won't step up a level until he can stay fit

Smallingbauer should've been first choice CB since '12 really. Dicking him about at RB didn't half hold him up.

Not sure how anyone can paint jones as a majestic footballer. Both his decision making and his first touch can be awful - they often conspire together which leads the bumbling oaf into making rash physical and injury threatening challenges as he desperately tries to recover himself from situations he himself has created.

He can be unbelievably poor - shit even - but can also show glimpses of being decent.

Overall though, I'm struggling to see how anyone can assess him as being anything other than bang average with a brain the size of a pea.

Jones needs to be moved on simply because his body is made out of quavers.

Bruce/Pallister and Vidic/Stam were consistent partnerships and very rarely injured. That is a vital quality if you plan to build from the back.

Jones is an alright defender but a bit of an gurning, clumsy oaf the way he gets around the pitch. He has the grace of a fully built wardrobe falling down two flights of stairs.

As for Rojo, the #@&%! irritated me immensly on Saturday and that penalty he gave away was waiting to happen. I said at the start of his time here that I felt he was too impetious in the challenge and would cost us in a lot of games. Nothing has changed my mind.

Sell both and slap a huge wad on Kenwrights board room table for Stones.

Mike and Stones are the long future for both club and country. If Stones is out of reach get Laporte in before Barca or Real make their move.

Very harsh on Rojo. I think he's done quite well, and has been in good form recently before that stupid challenge on Saturday.

Don't think it reflects his performances so far. Settled remarkably well last year and at 25 can improve further.

You seem to have overlooked the Sunday mirror reports that he tried to force his way out.
