Easy to forget the hype around Jones after those first couple of months was actually based on something. Obviously some of the stuff said by Fergie and Charlton looks a little silly now, but he looked a phenomenal prospect. I actually thought he did well when he played most of the time under LvG, but it wasn't often enough. 28 league starts in the last two seasons.
