Reckon owen is being set up as a mentor for macheda. I see kilo as an out and out CF like Ruud and of players like that none are better than owen at what he does. His movement and finishing are (or were) top notch and there is still much to gain (and learn) from him IF he is allowed to get his form back. Fergie's been very keen to play the two together and talk about how kilo should watch owen and learn as much as possible. Our other strikers could learn from his movement too tbf, Rooney and berbatov have average movement in the final third at best.

Owen has started getting many chances per appearance. He's missed most so far but should he get his touch back he'll be brilliant. We can play forever with berbatov and Rooney and not have any good openings but owen will come on and fluff a one on one or two!

Cos they are the best team in Europe and have been for 3 years they were robbed by Liverpool in the Semi's, us in the Final and Barca in last season's Semi's, they, rightfully, should have 3 CL's and have eclipsed us by now.

good start from valencia. really does seem to be coming to terms with the stage he's on now, much more confidence and seems to be taking charge of our play down the right and, more and more, in the middle. good to see.
