Now that's harsh. Think he might get squeezed out now though unless he gets a bit more consistency.

He won't start on Sunday. Don't think Fergie has any faith in him for the big games.

I thought he was ok on Saturday, to be fair. Not great, but ok.

Is Park fit tonight? Wouldn't be surprised to see him get a run out if so.

I thought he was a little more economical with the ball than usual. He had that nice little run on the touchline in the first half that drew a foul from one of three players. Just generally thought he caused Chimbonda quite a few problems.

He wasn't great, by any stretch, but considering how bad he's been at times, it's baby steps progress. Which in itself is a little sad.

Maybe, i thought, aside from a coupla fluffed finishes and one bizarre run direct into touch, that we looked better with Obertan out there, which given it was his debut must be a worry for nani's future.

Without doubt we looked better with Obertan on. Penetration down the left wing improved dramatically after his introduction.

Agreed. Obertan looks the antithesis of Nani. He's an awkward shape and looks a little ungainly, but he keeps his head up and is always looking for the right ball. That's very promising. He obviously fluffed his lines badly at points, but that's just nerves.
Probably not as technically talented as Nani, but neither are a lot of players who are far more vital to us than Nani.

I still hope nani can actually make a United footballer out of all that talent he has but i think the chances are getting thinner and thinner. This Lalac or whatever is a wide player too intee?

I think Ljadic is a CM? We should check the official thread....

I always said that this season is make or break for Nani. Felt sorry for him last season because he got caught in a run of bad form and a catch 22 where he wasn't playing well enough to justify game time to allow him to get his form back.
He's had more chances this season though and, with Ronaldo leaving, it was the perfect chance for him to really mature and make that place his own. He's improved on last year, but nowhere near enough. He has the talent, but his intelligence and synergy with his team-mates is light years away from where it should be and he's simply not bringing enough to the side. There's still time to put it right, but he needs a massive improvement and very quickly.

And he's deceptively slow aswell.

Ljajic can play on the left or right.

He's mainly been playing on the left this season for Partizan, although he is right footed.

He can also play behind a striker or as the attacking mid in a 3.

I've no doubt he'll start his career out wide though. Which means curtains for pin head IMO.

Indeed. Great defending in the Serbian Premier.

Well, they at least had one defender marking the three Partizan attackers.
