Think Fergie said he'd be back in 3 weeks or so a couple of weeks back. Obviously won't throw him in against Chelsea even if he is fit and there's a 2 week break after that, 'til Everton at home. I'm gonna predict he comes off the bench against Beskitas at home on the 25th Nov.

I would imagine they will want 2 or 3 reserve games out of him at least.

Wolfsburg away (earliest IMO).

I still doubt we'll see him before new year personally.

Well it's all guesswork really, just going off what Fergie said a coupla weeks back. Could well be later, none of us will know 'til he runs out in the shirt I s'pose.

agreed with all of that but if Berbs is fit I;d play him with Owen for an hour, another goal will keep his confidence up for Sunday

The date just keeps getting pushed back. If he's not ready then fine, but initially it was the start of the season, then October, now November....and still no sign of him. Sick of hearing about it in interviews too. A new year return wouldn't surprise me.

Can't see him coming back in a big game. As you say, a sub appearance in a dead CL game is probably most likely.
