Question Friday night football. Yey or neh?

Actually looking forward to it. Finish work, straight to the match, have a few beers and then home for a weekend of £#%&! all.

It'll be Sundays regularly once Europa kicks in.

Agree that it's a good concept up until the point where you consider away fans. There's only going to be 10 Friday night games this season and I imagine most will be between unfashionable teams such as West Brom vs Liverpool.

When was the last time Utd played a league game on Monday night?

Can't agree with the last part. Bloody love the Sunday 4pm slot. Proper way to end the weekend. The Italians had t right when Sunday was football day

Hate lunchtime KOs and don't like the Saturday teatime slot either. Friday nights are cool but obviously Soton fans are having the piss taken tomorrow.

Looking forward to us playing on the Friday, but it'll feel like we haven't played once it gets to Sunday.

José out.

10000% in. Can't see a downside for any party as long as it's not Ipswich away. Shell on Southampton obv

Disagree. Friday night = no work the day after so can have some drink, out afterwards aswell. Under the lights, atmosphere should be better. Can't see a downside tbh. Unless you're a Southampton fan.

Is that the first night league game there since '99?

We've got four lunchtime games in a row before that. Not a fan.

Think so. Only night games I remember, but would like to forget, are those last season in the Europa.

Yes, but they should only be between two clubs who aren't too far from each other

Think we had them at OT in the league for Rio's first game back from the ban.

Yeah last season was buzzing before the games
