How about Falcao?

Signing him in the first place is the terrible decision to deride.

Take his goals away and we'd be level with Liverpool.

Might aswell send him back to Monaco if he's not going to use him, not even on the £#%&!ing bench,

That's such a £#%&!ing moronic argument. Had he not played somebody else would and with more movement we may have even created more chances and won those 2 games.

Falcao adds nothing to any of that. He's too static to move the opposition defenders about, no threat in behind as he's too slow and can barely trap a ball the vast majority of the time. It's like watching an injury ravaged 30 year old Hernandez.

Movement to burn. Shitloads of movement.

No goals though. But yeah. Movement.

But you've just said had somebody else played instead of him we'd have created more chances.

Somebody else did play instead of him and we created absolute £#%&! all. Why are you blaming the midfielder and not the strikers for yesterday?

You are aware he helped create both of Rooney's goals against Newcastle yes?

We created no chances, zero, yesterday because the Southampton defence were able to settle into their shape and prevent us getting the ball to any one of any importance. This is because our players are too static, offering nothing in terms of moving defenders about, finding and creating space for others to give them the ball in dangerous areas, not causing any confusion or problems for the opposition defenders, no doubt, not causing them to make mistakes etc. Hence no goals.

Yesterday he played a winger upfront as a striker. That was idiotic and I'm hoping an experiment.

Rooney upfront instead of in midfield and we'd be in a far better position now. Falcao is not and will not be the answer.

He may well have had the final touch for Rooney's first against Newcastle, his best touch in a United shirt tbf, but that aside he was a passenger. Just as he has been in every game he's played. He was dropped because he hasn't been good enough or fit enough. Simple.

So if Falcao plays other people would've played that create movement or whatever it is you're whining about, but when he doesn't play they don't create movement either.

But it's all Falcao's fault.

What game were you watching? Falcao would have finished the chances Mata had.

Whilst inexplicably liking him as a midfielder, yes.

It just shows how catastrophically SAF managed his exit, tbh. You know who has done even more damage than we thought :shakehead:

Yesterday was deeply, profoundly depressing - but things *will* get better. It will just be more of a grind - and more expensive - than we hoped

some element of truth in Pure's op....he didn't storm out the ground b ut he was very pissed off at being left out and told Giggs that he wasn't happy at not even being on the bench and also pissed off at MUTV for claiming he was injured when he is not and trained fine all week

he had a meeting with Van gaal this afternoon and told him he wasn't happy at being left out and wanted assurances about his future

£#%&! knows what happens now maybe we can play Jordi di maria up front again on saturday
