Yes, they're terrified of us. They always seem to rush people back just play against us.

Is he ever fit to play against us?

Even an ageing, one-kneed Keano taught him a lesson twice a season.

hope he plays in the centre of midfield. Have a feeling that it won't be long before he's pushed out to the right. He can't cut it as one of two in the middle.

Even though he's shite against us, I'd still rather him be out.

Nope, kinda makes the Keane signing a strange one, either he has to play out of position, Gerrard does or they only really play 1 in midfield.

Be interesting to see what Benitez does in bigger games, he won't play 2 up front so what will he do with Keane?

He's a very lucky manager Benitez, this season could well be his last. He just buys whoever he can, Rieira for £10m.

Keane signing is very strange, they needed to spend big on at least one wide player not a centre forward who was going to play in Gerrard's posotion.

Don't think Torres will score as many as last season and can't see them improving their points total from last year.

Haven't seen anything of Rieira since he was at City, couldn't believe he was in the Spanish squad. It smacks of desperation, could have got Rieira earlier int he summer if he was one of his first choices.

Yeah, instead they are signing an off-striker to play as a winger? Or to play as an off-striker with gerrard wide, or to play essentially Mascherasno alone in midfield?

He's improved a hell of a lot since then to be fair, but he's still not worth 10m. And clearly its desperation, they don't have a single wide player with a week to go in the transfer window. I'd be desperate.
