Burnley fan, because he'd been on their books as a kid.
Took me to Turf Moor in the sixties when United were playing. No recollection of the score or which game it was, but the United following was immense, red and white everywhere, i'll never forget that or seeing Georgie, in the flesh. Started going to matches with mates in the early seventies and ended up with season tickets for me and my son. Only gave up going when we emigrated, but dream of a lottery win then we could fly into Barton for each home game and send the wife to the Trafford Centre. If only |

Nobody. He doesn't mind football but doesn't have a team as he moved about a bit as a kid.
My uncles on my mum's side started taking me to United when I was a kid so that was that. Apparently when I was two one of my Uncles bought me a full United kit, and a football and took me into the garden to begin the inevitable process of me one day captaining the mighty Reds. My mum came out 10 minutes later to find my uncle kicking the ball about by himself while I pushed my sister's doll pram around the garden in my underpants. |

1939 - 1946 lived in Heywood not much football then.
Mother and father split up moved to Sussex with future stepdad and mother he was a very strong Arsenal fan so I became a United fan manly because my uncle had a try out with United as an inside forward he ended up playing for Oldham Athletic had lots of talent but came down with TB. Went to FA cup 1948 United v Blackpool with stepdad saw my hero Jack Rowley. 1956 I moved to Canada lost touch on and off with the game 2008 went to United dinner at Stockport and watched United v West Ham 3-1 United . The ironic part of that game the West Ham scorer surname is the same as mine. Anyway since TV improvement etc I don't have to miss any game. You all have a good day... Moe |
