It is a weird excuse to make for Liverpool given they do splash the cash and their rivals also have to balance the books. Must think people are stupid. The only people who'll believe it are Liverpool fans.

Lovren cost em 20 million and is only only 12,500 a week which in the real work is loads but not a lot. Coutinho is on 30k a week. We have kids on that sort of money
